Que tal fashionistas!? Ha pasado mucho tiempo sin algun post! Me disculpo, pero es por que he tenido semana de exámenes para la universidad, y no he tenido tiempo para nada! Ahora que estoy de vacaciones, tendré más tiempo para ustedes.

Como ven, no son taaan fuera de lo común! jajajaja (solo exageré un poco). Pero si se fijas bien, cada pieza, tiene un detalle único que lo hace tan especial. Lo que me encanta esta nueva colección, con suelas que no se apoyan en el taco, los diseños, los colores y el juego de simetrías. ¿Qué tal les parecieron? ¿Podrían usarlos?

As you can see, they are not thaat out of the ordinary! hahaha (I just exaggerated a little bit). But if you watch closely, each piece has a unique detail that makes the shoe so special. The thing I love the most of this collection, is that the sole is not resting on the heel, the designs, the colors and the simetry game. What do you think about the collection? Could you use them?

Que tal fashionistas?! Hace un par de semanas compré esta pulsera en Asos, y realmente desde que lo vi repetidas veces en muchos blogs, me enamoré de el! Y cuando lo encontré, después de mucho tiempo, aparte de emocionarme, lo compré inmediatamente!! Jjajajaja (creo que perdí mi capacidad de pensar antes de comprar!), así que debe estar en camino a casa! Ahí les mostraré algún look que se puede crear con esta pulsera!

Color Shorts

Que tal fashionistas?! Sé que hace tiempo les vengo hablando acerca del Color Block y los colores monocromáticos, pero salirse de lo típico de la temporada es una muy buena opción si es que desean un pequeño cambio o resaltar! Una gran idea sería usar shorts como éstos que encontré en Singer22. Son perfectas para dar un look más atrevido.

Una idea para formar un look con ellas sería: para invierno me las imagino con un top y leggings negras, y para el verano con una blusa blanca holgada. Con ambas opciones deberán estar listas para ser el centro de la atención!

Que tal fashionistas!? Durante esta semana leí un poco la revista InStyle, March 2011, y me encontré con el mejor artículo y que mejor se relacione a como yo pienso según la moda. Este artículo se trata ni más ni menos que una lección de Alber Elbaz, diseñador de la conocida marca Lanvin. Él muestra un punteo sobre cómo ver y usar la moda. Así que les mostraré el punteo que tanto Lanvin como yo, y me imagino que muchos de ustedes también comparte.

1. Usa el tipo de ropa que te permita ser como tú realmente eres.
2. Elige ropa que sea cómoda pero sin dejar de resaltar tus mejores atributos.
3. Acércate a la alta costura en prendas de menor valor.
4. Confía en el espejo.
5. Compra zapatos en los que puedas caminar.
6. Respeta tu edad.
7. Encuentra tus colores.
8. Se selectiva, no impulsiva.

¿No encuentran que esta lección de Lanvin es certera? 

Uno muchas veces se deja llevar por lo que está de moda, comprando prendas que muchas veces no son halagadoras para el cuerpo de uno. Y no solo es eso, sino que uno se niega a ver como son realmente las cosas! ¿Resultado? Un closet lleno de prendas que uno nunca más va a utilizar porque en el fondo uno no se siente cómodo en esas prendas.

¡Cuántas veces me ha pasado que compro ropa porque el color está de moda, pero resulta que ese color no va con mi tono de piel, o no resalta mis atributos y finalmente no uso nunca más esa prenda! Y me imagino que no soy la única. ¿Qué opinan del tema? ¿Alguna anécdota para compartir?

Hey there fashionistas?! During the week I was reading InStyle, March 2011, magazine and I found the best article, that couldn't relate better with the way I think about fashion. This article it's about Alber Elbaz, designer of Lanvin, and a lesson that he wants to share. He shows a few style pointers to see and use fashion. So now I will show you the pointer that Lanvin, Me, and I imagine that many of you share.

1. Wear the type of cloths that let you be who you really are
2. Choose comportable fits (comfy and show your assets)
3. Take a High-Fashion approach ti lower-priced clothing.
4. Trust the mirror
5. Buy shoes to walk in
6. Respect your age
7. Find your colors
8. Be selective, not impulsive.


Don't you find this lesson accurate?

It happends many times that we get carried about what is new in fashion, buying cloths that sometimes there are not flattering at all for us. And that's not all, we use to refuse to see what things really are! The result? A closet filled up with new clothes that we are never going to use again, because deep inside we don't feel comfortable wearing those clothes.

How many times I have bought a cloth just because its color of the season, but it turnes up to be that, that specific color dosen't match my skin tone or simply dosen't highlight my assets and finally I never use that garmet again! And I can imagine that I'm not the only one. What do you think about the topic? Any anecdote to share?
